Each session begins with a safety & on-land briefing, before gliding out into the turquoise water on our kayaks.

Paddle below native bush, steep sandstone cliffs and past mini inlets as we make our way along the coastline to Taylor’s Bay. There are plenty of opportunities for a swim, as well as chances to explore the quiet beaches and coves that dot the coastline. You’ll also be able to take in spectacular views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge from an angle even the locals don’t usually get to see. If you’re lucky, you might even find yourself paddling alongside a group of seals that are regularly found in the bay.

About Chowder Bay

Chowder Bay is a historic maritime village set in natural bushland, with the stunning harbour as a background. It’s bursting with hundreds of species of native flora and fauna, both above and below the water – including an extraordinary seahorse colony. The Bay is surrounded by two significant areas of open space: Clifton Gardens Reserve and Sydney Harbour National Park, both of which are linked by walking tracks that lead you to other places of interest, including Taronga Zoo, Balmoral Beach and Headland Park.
